News of a big storm on the way caused the Rutherford County Schools to send the kids home from school an hour early Friday afternoon. It was raining at the time.
It started snowing at about 7 or 8 pm.
A bit comical for our family, having lived in much snowier climates in Minnesota and Washington. But there was no complaint from the kids.

That is hilarious! I remember that! And all the stores are out of bread, eggs, and milk! Gotta love Tennessee! Here the kids are still walking to school in a blizzard! Although they do have really good snow removal equipment. We hope spring will someday come! Maybe in August!!!! I think Minnesota is still worse though so I guess I shouldn't complain!
Our kids miss snow days.... no such thing here. HA!
